There's a new buzzword in town and a new breed of man. So are you one of them? I've encountered a few in my life.

So what is a metrosexual man?

According to an artcile on MSN Health by Richard Trubo He's been defined as a straight, sensitive, well-educated, urban dweller who is in touch with his feminine side. He may have a standing appointment for a weekly manicure, and he probably has his hair cared for by a stylist rather than a barber. He loves to shop, he may wear jewelry, and his bathroom counter is most likely filled with male-targeted grooming products, including moisturizers (and perhaps even a little makeup). He may work on his physique at a fitness club (not a gym) and his appearance probably gets him lots of attention -- and he's delighted by every stare.

MEN IN NEW BLUE UNIFORMS

I was on my way to work last Friday, as I was driving along Edsa, I couldn't help but notice the new blue uniforms of a small group of obviously "fresh out of the academy" MMDA officers right in front of SM Megamall. Armed with their ticket notebooks, they were all lined up in a row facing the streets. As my car approached the Ortigas area, I saw a lonely, vertically challenged one, who looked lost and bewildered in the middle of the road. Oh well.

Makes you wonder what kind of training program these guys go through.

Do they have "What It Takes to be a MMDA Officer Manual?" ^_^

BAD BOYS! BAD BOYS!

Well the boys are it again. The boys are back and badder than ever.

The sequel is definitely better than the first. Jayce and I caught the press screening, thanks to my good ol' friend Benj for last minute tickets.
More action, more gore, bullets and sexy girls. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence were just hilarious. Bad boys2 "makes u wanna pee-humor" still
leaves movie-goers laughing their pants off.

Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay made it graphically violent and funnier. The violence is gruesomely graphic, with most of it in glorious slo-motion, definitely not for the kiddies or the weak of heart or stomach.

COUP! COUP! COUP!

I was running late for the usual "get-together" of the Comic Quest gang which happens every Saturday. I was stuck at work because I needed to train one of agents with the new software that just came in for one of the accounts. I received a text message from Budjette, telling me that there was coup and that Malacanang has been barricaded and to check out the news on INQ7.net. He was right.

A group of disgruntled junior officers belonging to PMA Marilag class of 1995 led by brilliant yet dangerous man Navy Lieutenant Antonio Trillanes IV took over Oakwood building located at the heart of the Ayala Commercial Center. They barricaded area with bombs and other booby traps.

Armed with their heavy artillery and red armsbands bearing the Sun logo, they wanted to get their message across. They wanted the end of the graft and corruption in the AFP and the group wanted Angelo Reyes out.

EVER IDEALISTIC

I received a lot of mixed reactions on my cellphone, some were totally against the whole thing, while the others were giving their full support towards these brave men who risked their lives and career just to get message across. For years, the corruption not only the AFP but also in other sectors of the Philippine government has been rampant and blatant.

The Marilag class just got fed up.

Strangely, I find myself commending this group for putting their young lives on the line, so that they can air their grievances and protest the corruption in the AFP.

It's about f***cking time.
