My Immortal

I'm so tired of being here,
Suppressed by all my childish fears,
and if you have to leave,
I wish that you would just leave,
Cause your presence still lingers here,
and it won't leave me alone,

These wounds won't seem to heal,
This pain is just too real,
There's just too much that time cannot erase,

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears,
When you'd scream I’d fight away all of your fears,
and I held your hand through all of these years,
But you still… have… all of me,

You used to captivate me,
by your resonating light,
now I’m bound by the life you left behind,
Your face it haunts,
my once pleasant dreams,
your voice it chased away,
all the sanity in me,

These wounds won't seem to heal,
this pain is just too real,
there's just too much that time cannot erase,

When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears,
when you'd scream I’d fight away all of your fears,
and I held your hand through all of these years,
but you still… have… all of me

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone,
but though you're still with me,
I've been alone all along,

When you cried I’d wipe away all of your tears,
when you'd scream I’d fight away all of your fears,
and I held your hand through all of these years,
but you still… have… all of me oh..., me oh..., me oh... (end)

WEDDING DAY, BIRTHDAY

Two of our dear friends tied the knot (Arnold and Cynthia) yesterday at the UP Chapel. The CQ gang arrived a little early and decided to go the UP Coop and wolfed down fishball and buko juice while we wait for the bride to arrive.

It was such a pleasant afternoon, great weather, everyone was just dressed beautifully and at the same time we were all engrossed in exchanging stories and sipping our buko juice. By the time we got back to the chapel, we missed Cynthia's walk down the aisle. (Ha!)

The reception held at the Palawan Ballroom at the Edsa Shangrila Hotel was really nice and festive.
The most creative couple as expected did a fabulous job in making their wedding reception look really great.

After the reception, the gang decided to have a night cap at the Seattle's Best along Emerald Ave.

BIRTHDAY

My dad just took me out to lunch the next day, my post-bday celebration. As usual, spent my birthday quietly, no frills, no big parties, the downside of having a birthday after the holidays.
